NTC 2011 is Upon Us!

2011 Nonprofit Technology Conference (#11ntc) is ramping up by kicking off the community voting website for over 400 nonprofit focused sessions! We have until September 30th to vote for those we think will be the most valuable to the overall NPTech community.  If you’re not familiar with the Nonprofit Tech. Conference head over and take a look at the agenda, the sessions, the day of service, and who attended in the past. I think those resources will give you a good idea of what’s going on.

Nonprofit Technology Conference 2011

This year’s event will be from March 17th – 19th in Washington, DC at the Washington Hilton. I hope to see you there …

The challenge with over 400 sessions is figuring out which ones you think sound interesting or would be valuable to you and the overall community of people attending. It’s no easy task to go through 400 entries. I’m mostly looking forward to the communications and fundraising tracks so I spend a bit of time looking over those entries and found a handful or so that look interesting to me. Don’t worry; they’re not all Blackbaud sessions (though some are). Please have a look through them and vote for a few.

A few of the sessions that caught my eye …

How to Vote

At the bottom of each session description is a widget with 5 stars. Click the star rating that corresponds to your opinion of the idea (1 being the lowest). So easy! By clicking the session title, you’ll be taken to a detail page, where you can leave comments, thoughts, ideas, feedback, etc, if you wish. If you get confused here’s an FAQ for ya.

There are multiple pages of sessions to vote on so make sure to spend some time looking through everything. If you are only interested in a particular track you can narrow the results by using the menu in the right column. Some of the tracks include Communications, Fundraising, IT Staff and Leadership.
